I have chose to stay out of the CT for one reason.......trash talk. A little is o.k, but my god people its worse than a basketball court in the projects. Not so much trash talk as the name calling. Just gets real old. Seems like if u dont play the way the other side wants you too they start in ya. Just want to say one thing cause i know JG will probably be the firts to reply. I think most of JG are a great buch of guyz Storch ,TK, N7, you guyz fly well and are good for some nice fights. Not that i sit and cry at night from being called a name or 2, it just gets old seeing said all the time. If u have an "E" fighter and u use it u "run". If u get in trouble and u head to cover you are an ack weenie. If i get into a scrape with storch and N7 and loose any advantage u dam right im gonna run for cover. Who wouldn't? I know there not gonna fight me one at a time. There gonna jump all over me. I would just like too see the respectable folks that were in CT when i first started playing in CT. I have talked to alot of people in MA and they say the samething. I talk trash to N7 all the time, but it is on a private channel so other people dont think im an ass. Im sure some of you think that anyway. I would just like to see al the BS stop. FROM BOTH SIDES.

there are currently several egos in CT that are only eclipsed by their inability in their flying skills to back it up, amazed some can even close their canopy.

some view a low score in CT as a life goal - LOL

shame, it used to not be that way

.squelch/turn off vox (it is usually useless anyway - has ruined the original check 6) - all you can do

We have learned to deal with it at my house.  I just have to inform the wife I'll be flying in the "grumpy old men" arena (as she calls it) and she puts on her headphones if she's using her computer in the office.  Otherwise she goes in the living room to watch TV lol.

This is probably my first and only post regarding this...

I will agree with Gary and Eagler and throw my amen in with Bear's.

I remember in the historical arena in Warbirds, thier being only a few ppl that ever really ventured there. With the help of a few good squads and the likes of Lowe, Yt and a few others it was the premier arena to fly in. Why? because thier was gamesmanship along with spotsmanship with a little of old world chivary.

I have watched in the last month of being back in AH that complete newbies being flamed and beat up by the keyboard just on the fact he/she was new to the game.

Quots from the text buffer like "we don't do that in the CT"  or "run %&!@, run!"  and my favorite "The death of the CT is timidity".......wtf?!

His dime, one plays how they wants.

and who is incharge of marketing?? accountability?

Its a shame i have to turn the text buffer off just so my 12 year old son can play. Christ, he has more maturity then most these keyboard wonders.

Iv heard this many times and every time i say this game really isnt for kids. If he is that mature then you have nothing to worry about. This is a game where you take WW2 planes and GVs and try to kill the other guy and ppl get mad when someone talks chit. This game isnt gory but it is pretty vilent.

Some just will never get it. I think I am one of them. I never understood the joys of bashing someone. Believe it or not it is better than it was not so long ago.

I have left flying AH twice.

The second time was because of this very issue.

I have no plans to return, which is a shame.  The good nights were magical, the bad ones left me with the feeling of "I am paying 15 bucks a month to be ridiculed."  When I am looking for my escapism I don't want to feel like I am back in the real world.

My 2 cents.

It has nothing skill, gameplay, or who's "top gun".  Its people being ****ty to people for no other reason than to be ****ty.  I doubt youll be able to put them in there place because they allready know it. Now they have stooped to sabotage of the arena just to get one in on the "other side"

I think the CT can, in rare moments, be the best experience in AH. Unfortunately, those moments are rare and most of the time its a yellow water kiddie pool.

The irony is, for all of Bug's and others b****in and moaning about the "unresponsive" CT staff last year, its the player's that are killing it, not the staff.
