What kind of video card is this and why does it cost so much?

That is a workstaion card designed for high end 3D design (think movies).

Terrible gaming card as it is highly optimized for working with millions of polys per frame.

Skuzzy as much as you and/or all of us are asked about video cards it might save you a little time to post a sticky in here with your current ideas on the cards for the money..(they are willing to pay) and just udate it when something new comes out! granted every other month! but the time it take for you to post to every one of these..... it will save you time!

And have someone blame him when the card they buy doesnt work right in THEIR system, and they whine and cry "SKUZZY MADE ME DO IT!"

my suggestion was more like a comparison chart of the card that are out, not how well they play the game, with a disclaimer atop the sticky it still would save ya some time , IMO.

oh well it was only a suggestion.
