There are light water reactors listed on that page that produce 40 MW. So now you are saying they need heavy water for isotopes for agriculture? What happened to the "they need it for power"

Also from your source...

The IR-40 heavy water research reactor is significant because it produces high quality plutonium, the most important component for a compact, nuclear device.

Western light water reactors which have been offered produce as much  electricity than this IR-40. If not more. I cant find if 40MW is the same as 1500MWe but I gotta fly. will discuss it further.

yes .. i didnt say that its for agriculture ... you somehow pick that piece of text and start to laugh. here is first sentense from my quote.

Iran has stated that the IR-40 will be used for research and development, radioisotope production, and training.

I hope you dont imagine, that heavy water reactor produce instant WMD pointing on your village, anymore.

1)I didnt pick it, You quoted it as if to prove your point.

2) 1st you said Iran had huge power demans and they needed electricity. I provided you the deal that was offered of light water reactors. Now you say that they need it for the isotopes for medicine and agriculture. Tell you what they are gonna needs lots of medicine if they keep on trying to build a bomb.

3)See this today. Pakistan: Iran did get centrifuges.Pakistan's minister for information and broadcasting says that A.Q. Khan, the country's leading nuclear scientist, provided Iran with centrifuges that could be used in the process of making nuclear weapons.

http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/asiapcf/03/10/pakistan.iran/index.html

Wonder what they need centrifuges for.
