Moscow is perplexed by a statement from Polish Foreign Ministry official representative Aleksander Checko, who called the murder of the Chechen separatist leader Aslan Maskhadov “a political stupidity and a gross mistake”, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s information and press department said in a commentary published on an official Web site Thursday.

Maskhadov, the document says, had the blood of thousands of Russian people, including children, on his hands, because it’s widely known that terrorist attacks in Beslan, Moscow, and other Russian cities were committed at his direct orders. “If all this is called Maskhadov’s efforts towards a political settlement in Chechnya, Poland evidently has a distorted view of processes of this kind and the fight against international terrorism on the whole,” the Russian Foreign Ministry claims.

“A question arises: will Poland use analogous phrases to regret the elimination of murderous terrorist Shamil Basayev, who is on the UN antiterrorist sanction list, or Osama bin Laden?” the statement reads.

Welcome Poland to the list of the countries hosting, supporting and helping terrorists, at the same time being a member of the so-called "anto-terrorist alliance".

how  do you think, how many russians will die now when chechens like to get revange after assasinations of their lider?

"Vengeful"? Lol.

Big drawing? Well, if you use your best crayon, it'd have to be more clear than the allegory you tried to create using a keyboard.  You go boy; maybe the teacher will let you work through naptime.

Yah, yer right. Amreekans have no clue where our "neighbor to the North" is located.

Think about what it says about you when cats and dogs hold hands and generally fart in your direction.

Pretty simple; Slo showed up. Happens about everytime he hits his keyboard to spew.

I'll not upset Toad, they didn't go that far. They only stated that it was not genocide, that is pretty obvious.

BTW, I was on lake Seliger last weekend as I said in other threads, saw a grave of Polish officers there, sorry, didn't have flowers...

I know what picture I envision.  Toad needing to reload his Mag, and me shooting over his shoulder to cover.

I've been to Canada enough times and never had a problem talking nor meeting folks.  SLO, you're just one of the few a**holes in the Country, accept it.  I'll be in Montreal next year for the GP (2006).  I'll give everone here a rundown on how my reactions are.

Again, by NOT KNOWING ME, you are UNFIT to make the statement.

Boroda, you don't upset me; you entertain me.  It's like going to a Natural History museum and finding that they actually have a real, live brontosaurus.

Now, to the point:

Quote
65 years ago about 22,000 Polish military officers, intellectuals and priests, who had been detained in the former Soviet Union in 1939, were shot by Soviet agents in the Katyn forest, 18 kilometres from Smolensk. The case became widely known in 1943 after Nazi soldiers discovered 4,100 bodies there.

Up until now, you have refused to acknowledge that this mass murder of POW's was done on Stalin's order by the NKVD.

This despite Yeltsin, Gorbachev and even Putin admitting that's how it was done.

You claimed no one could be sure (or some such nonsense) and that all these Soviet leaders were traitors and drunks (you realize that's a totally Stalinist technique, right?).

Now, Russias Chief Military Prosecutors Office has given their verdict, which confirms what everyone with an milligram of intelligence already knew. Stalin had the Polish POW's executed.

So... what do YOU say now? Is Russias Chief Military Prosecutors Office just another bunch of drunks and traitors?

Or is this yet another CIA plot to discredit the former Soviet Union?

Do tell!
