A quick film of some trees I'm working on for new map...

Should make you think twice about ditching. or at least cut down on the dolts who run away and ditch at 250 mph once ya whooped em....lol! Should also let GVs have nice battles undisturbed by low bombers :) Still a WIP, but pretty close to done.

The lighting is so poor in AH2 that you really can't see anything...

But I'll take your word that there were pines in there some where... :p

Waffle I don't know how you have your game set up but the film is so dark it's just blue above and black below. You can barely see the top instruments but you can't read them.

Same with your screen shots on the pinetree thread. Too dark to see.

My webpage/oneline stuff is at 1.2 and the game is run at 1.4 for flying over blue water.

I'm running a Sony CRT moniter. If your on flat screen that would explain it.

I'm on a samsung syncmaster 955df - no gamma corrections. No changes on video card. Everything at default. The film by itself is pretty dark. As is the terrain underneath it.

I think that the darkness of the film is really brought out by the inner conflict of the protagonist.

Waffle I run a flat screen at work and your stuff is light enough. It looks like what "you" see. But on a CRT moniter all the brightness disappears

Try a jpg or a film at shot at 1.4 gamma on your moniter and post it up. Every CRT moniter comes out darker than a flat screen.

Ive noticed this before and that would confirm one way or another and in a graphic way, prove or disprove my hyposis. May have some bearing on my post docterate thesis on gamma.

Keep in mind that your photo's may be used in a presentation with appropriate credits. I haven't the money to offer compansation for the use of said photos.

To ensure the that all parameters have been covered in the paragraph above to the point that they are acceptable to those I have retained I have a form for your people to fill out.

Just play with the brightness and the contrast on your media player and all will be well.
