So has anyone see latest episode iii trailer?

It came out a couple of days ago.  I'm a star wars geek as it is:D but wow i'm impressed!   I really hope this is 3rd time lucky for Lucas.

I'm fresh outta rat's tulips WRT Star Wars.

I'm sure I won't see it at the theatre, and I rather doubt I'll bother renting the DVD.

This franchise is no longer worth the time.

One day, maybe Lucas will sell the rights and then someone with some tale...

What am I saying?

The story is crap. The bit about "Luke, I'm your father" in the second installment was bad enough, but then the third just put the nail in the coffin. Luke was sporting a chubby for two movies before they let out the "you've been jonesin' for your sister" bs.

Later, we get Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor to pull this stinker up. Both are better than this.

Interesting article. Of course, the question that springs to my mind is did Lucas plan it exactly that way or did that view escape him as the various movie plot lines evolved from the original plan?

I agree with this article completely....no matter how he manipulated it to happen (no one was aware of the manipulation) The Empire is the legal form of Govt...and the rebels are terrorists....besides just like any movie..the bad guys always look cooler and have cooler weapons/equipment.

I must confess... I'm a star wars nerd myself. Havent seen the trailer yet, but I will later today.

Shoot me if you must, but I enjoyed ep 1 and 2 too.
