ok, serious question...does lag, or some connect issue out there cause landed rounds to not cause damage?

hit belly of la7 with my 38 from <200, no damage?! what gives? 2 minutes before i shot down an 109g10 with no issues, but blast the la7 and nothing? sigh

ive taken buffs down(wing root) with less rounds than i put into this la. so, what causes this?

Connect issues most definately. Lost packets = lost rounds.

Does not happen in AH, according to Hitech. I asked him this very same question regarding losing packets.. the packets get resent and resent until the other guy gets em.

It can not cause lost rounds.

Just sounds like bad luck to me.. the other day I put a 30mm into the top of a mossie and he didn't explode, light on fire, lose his tail... nothing. Had to shoot the bugger again. Sometimes weird things happen

so, what is the deal? if not connect issues, what then? or do sprites not count as hits?

woulda been one thing if there was some damage, but none, and i didnt see any parts fly off so i believe the la7 driver. is it just something that happens to do the moon gettin in line with certain planets on a given day of a special month? im lost.

and of course, i did get shot down with a short cannon blast. hehe my luck.

The hit sprite on the 109 might of been your 20mm hitting something vital. The hit sprite on the LA7 was most likely your .50 cal., which wouldn't do near the damage as a cannon round.

I said 30mm. If I hit your aileron with a 30mm, your wing falls off. If I hit your nose, your engine or pilot dies. If I hit your rudder/elevator, your tail falls off. Get it?

Maybe AH actually modells the "quality" of hits, but we can't visually confirm it...like, non-penetrated surface explosion for HE.. 'bounced' rounds or 'grazed' rounds for AP.. etc etc..??

You are overlooking the obvious: the La7 in AH is much tougher than the Bf109.
