ok, so this last few weeks I've had little to no work and have been lying around doing nothing for most of my time.

but on checking my stats this tour, I have spent 70 hours playing AH in 15days!

thats almost 20% of my total time this month, not counting sleep, eating and girlfriend. ...

Don't worry about it, batfink.  When I was out of work last year for 10 months, I spent a lot of time on AH.  It helped with the depressing effect of no income.  My friends (both of them) and squaddies were there for me when I was down, and kept me going.

If you are getting the same results, keep it up!

Heh I flew on Sunday most of the day............

1 problem it was my wedding aniversarry. Of course, I did not realise this until, my wife was trying to show me some stuff she bought at the store, while I was in a huge fight.

She finally said  "At least you could listen to me on our Anniv." Then she stormed out. .....

I kept playing, nothing I could do at that point I was already in trouble.

I wonder how long I will be paying for that little lapse.

When I started playing AW in '97 I was 12. So I played a lot of it, those who flew know that I was always on and never seemed to sleep. Back then it was a little more understandable to see a 12 year old kid on as much as I was. But now, 8 years later, lol it's still the same result. I'm on more than I should, but I cut the precious things out to have a "social life" too. SLEEP! But honestly, where else can you have the fun you do here. There's no difference between us, and those weirdos that sit in a chat room for hours. :) At least our chat room has colors and violence

She'll forget about it until the worst possible moment then dig every single skeleton out of your closet and dump it on you like a pile of bricks.  It hurts heh.

great posts guys.

thanks for the 'support'    heh.

thanks shubie.

anyone know of a good 'back up dealer' if AH goes wrong?

i would probably have to enter back into real life.

that might be devastating.

oh.....is it bad to say  'roger that dear' when she asks if i want steak for dinner? :)

One day at a time! "I am powerless over AH and my life has become unmanagable." Look for support groups. By now they must be everywhere. I found that taking on an incredibly daunting task requiring all of my time let me fly about 4 hrs each month for about 4 or 5 months now. So instead of flying I went through withdrawls. The sshakes and sweating are almost over!
Peace

Geeez ..if you are knockin back 10 to 12 hours sleep, your not an addict yet. You are just chipping. :D
I remember near the end of AW I made the statement that I must be getting old. I believe it was Wax who asked me why I thought that. I told him that after about 48 to 50 hours of continuous play my backside would get a little sore. :D
