Weekly GT4 Challenge?

That's where the fun is GTO, it's to power drift in the turn rather than slaloming around at 100 MPH like "cruising USA".

I'll add

- no TC for cars that do not have it in RL.
- N tires combo to driver discretion, so you can make your car oversteer.
- Power boost 100HP max over original car HP( blower/turbo/eng tune job combo), specify NOS yes/no.
- can we add racericer wings?
Dat jugs bro.

Terror flieger since 1941.

- N1, N2, N3 tires only.
- Run laps in GT mode practice.  No other cars on track for drafting.
- Post laptimes by Monday AM.
- Best single lap wins.
- Winners make their "calls" by Tuesday AM.
- Winners must carry maximum ballast on front axle for next week's competition.

100kg of ballast in one go is a bit much.  Win one race, have 25kgs.....win the next as well, have 50kgs, win a 3rd, 75kg, win the 4th in a row and you're at max ballast.  Anything other than a 1st place resets ballast to zero.

Also, the car picked must be available to buy easily, not one you have to win.

And.....for long term bragging rights, lets award points for the drivers championship.  10 for 1st, 6 for 2nd, etc.

And heck it's only wednesday, let's start.  GTO, your idea, your pick.

Turns out ballast maxes out at 200kg.

How's 50kg per week?

how bout 25kgs per axle per win?

I think 200kgs all up front means you're coming last so if ya win a race you may as well not race next week.

OK there is some difference of opinion regarding driving aids and mods and tires.  Let's just let the winner make the call on that each week.

Also do we need a gamepad division?  Are there enough pad users to justify it, or does everybody have a wheel?

That's perfect.  The sliders default to neutral CG (weight is added at the CG) so the winner would just have to go in the setup menu and add 50kg.

It's all good, I just want to make sure the wheel geeks don't clobber everybody.

Pad here too, unlike new games or computer upgrades, can't really sneak the wheel past the wifey until I "win" it in some way.

I think I can keep up with a wheel user.  No need for two divisions.

Re mods:  Leave it up to the winner to specify.  However, whoever is doing the picking keep in mind that if ya pick a DB9 with every mod there is......that's somewhere around a 300,000cr investment.  S'gonna be cheaper & easier (and possibly more fun) to pick a mini and leave it unmodded.

300K credits is change, that Med rally special condition event is kinda a money cheat :)
No pad division is ok, I'm bound to be last either way.
