AH2 SA!
« on: March 15, 2005, 01:39:17 AM »
Am I the only one who since playing AH has noticed their SA increasing to ridiculous levels?

Now when I'm driving the car I'm looking left, right, over my shoulder, down to the road!!

I've even been seen by my long suffereing wife-ack better half staring up through the sunroof looking for a road-based threat hiding in the glare of the sun!!

Just thought this post would make a change from the norm!

HTC keep up the good work!!!
Well appreciated and hey if it cuts down on RTA's its gotta be good!

ya isnt that kinda cool, i have been complimented on my great SA when i play soccer, didnt think till now it could be due largly to flight sims, i guess thats one reason artists do so well when it comes to flight, spatial awareness is intergral to both   art and flying. Furthermore i consider flying to be an art of its own as im sure many of you can agree.

No, but I've noticed an increased tendency to put my face 4 inches from televisions to see if the ack is still up.

Not to mention driving -- I find myself judging velocity differentials a bit more accurately (i.e. tightly) when "merging" and changing lanes....

Wife isnt thrilled about this, though she should be happy about the cardiovascular benefits from the extra adrenaline ....:aok

When in my BMW I have a tendancy to want to "saddle up" on any mustangs I see on the road.

So far have 3 confirmed kills and two speeding tickets.

Almost ripped off the steering wheel trying to go vertical once. Does that count? How about stepping on the gas while trying to slip into a parking spot?

I tryed setting my views in a pickup while pulling a trailer with keys and F10. Didn`t work. I think I got it mapped wrong.

I did manage to get put on wife`s "ignore list" though. Life is good.

It's always helped my driving, especially in close maneuvering.  But my SA really shines when I'm on the motorcycle.
