Dont feel bad. Sunday and monday nights were both "one of those nights where nothing went right" For me. couldnt hit anything even at point blank range and everything seemed to have no problems hitting me
Happens that way sometimes
Wed wasnt a whole lot better but I had connection issues so at least there was an explainable reason for it.

You said you tried to go under me, but I shot you from under while climing up to you and you were pulling up (thats how I saw your belie).  Given that a lot of times a get killed a few seconds after the con passes by (geting pinged 2 seconds after the merge),  I am wondering if the game is fubared when on this map.

The past few days I've had a blast in the MA.

Then yesterday I read this thread.

Last night I log on for a few flights before watching a movie with the wife.

On my first attempt to up I am vulched.

I go to another base one sector away and head to the base to find the vulcher.  Upon rolling in on what I thought might be the vulcher...yea you Sundownr  , I auger like a first flight newbie.

I try again.  Long flight to the base...everyone low.  So I dive in and notice, as I am diving, that there is a guy coming to try and HO me in full climb.  I try to avoid it..but I end up hurtling to the ground after taking the face shot.

I log off in frustration.

Damn you Guppy...damn you to hell.

Flew again last night and it was definately better.  Actually landed kills a couple times.

I heard one suggestion that the map was part of the problem as it seemed to promote too many instances of 10 guys attacking an undefended base here, while 10 other guys were attacking another undefended base somewhere else.

I did manage to get mugged a few times, and in one where I had 4-5 guys behind me hammering me, I didn't hesitate to fire when I saw a Hurri IIc and all those cannon's pointed at me coming head on.  Naturally he didn't fire that time.  Sorry bout that hub

Part of my problem is I end up in furballs on the deck in a 38G, which does turn well, but is just too big of a target sometimes.  I guess it's the Spit driver in me coming out

I also had a horrible night last night. Quite possibly the worst since playing Aces high. Seemed I couldnt do anything right.

After an extremely bad time I decide take up a 262 and things will go good....   Well this wasnt the case. After climbing to 20K and approaching an enemy field. AI88 first puff of ack and my 262 bursts into flames. I try to dive to hit the deck and ditch to save some of my perks, Poof I blew up.

What a bad night.  



Tonight the MA down, CT a vulchfest, MA2 a 262only arena. Things are no better today. Oh well theres always tomorrow.
