I was just looking at some of the stats on the top 100 pilots and comparing them to mine and the one stat that blew me away was Total time.

I mean I know I don't fly every night (only 29 1/2 hour this tour)but I still think I fly a lot but after looking at some of the other guys......DAMN!

I won't go into names but I saw one who has flown 129 hours this tour...129!!!! That's about 6 hours of flying every day this tour.

I like flying but I can normally only fly about every other day and even then maybe a couple of hours at a time.

Speaking of sleep(or lack thereof), I pulled an all-nighter last weekend, and ran into two of my squaddies at 4:00am! Funked had just logged on before class, and Asmodan was flying in the middle of the afternoon(in Poland).

For US fliers, you can have lots of fun on the weekend morning between 3-5AM(central time), lots of fun fights. I had a 15 minute fight last Saturday morning with another pilot, he in a Niki, me in an La-5. Was the most intense one v. one I've ever had in AH.

See the trick is to get ranked pretty high while keeping your total time pretty low.

One of my squadmates flew 867 fighter sorties in tour 12. 'kin 'ell.

In order to be in the top 100 for a given tour you have to do a lot of flying. I'm not in the top 100 overall, but I'm 16th in the fighter category and 12th in attack. I've flown 16hrs this tour. The other two stats I couldn't care a flying poo poo platter about considering the only time I'll bomb is with my squad, and I haven't done any of that this tour. Vehicles? Fergit it.. I won't touch those things with a 10 mile pole.

When I flew a lot, I could easily get into the top 100 overall... so I guess it's just a matter of how long you sit in front of your PC absorbing radiation into your eyeballs.

That can't be good at all. ;-)

I disagree SeaWulfe. I'm currently ranked 8th overall and I've only spend 42 hours online this tour.

LOL logged on last night at 11:30 pm my time, & flew with Ozark & Teerex till almost 2:00.

Had a BLAST!

Sleep is overrated.

On a serious note: I actually do other stuff too. I'm a student in my final year at college, I currently do research that involves interviewing a small number of people (one patient each day), I take a small number of classes and I have a lot of spare time before analyzing data begins this spring... I also have a (rapidly declining) number of friends and might as well sell off my TV-set. Most shocking: My G/F is still around

You guys should see blitz's online hours. He flew for nearly 240 hrs in tour 12. That's 8 hrs a day 7 days a week for 30 days!!!! My wife would kill me!!

yester day i was 11pm my time until 10am the next day. and some times have to go to work at 11 am

Where are the times posted? Why the hell does anyone have the right to know how much time you or I spend on this game? I really don't see how that's anyones business but your own. That's wonderful info for marketing and sales people.

Hit the HTC link at the bottom of this page.
From there, select "Scores".
Pull up "pilot score".
Punch in the name "kieran".
You now know how much time I have spent here this month, along with my "stats" (nothing to brag on).

winqck has flown only 25 hours so far this tour.
He is ranked:
10th in fighters
2nd in bombers
1st in attack
4th in vehicles
2nd overall

If he put in 75 to 100 hours a tour, I'm sure that he could be ranked #1 in all 4 categories. He's in a league of his own.

Remember, only 20% of your fighter score has to do with how much you fly, and:
40% for bombers
22% for attack
and 30% for vehicle/boat
