Ogie called me on something today. (Thanks Ogie I really mean that) I really should have said please. It is a simple word I think we forget sometimes in the heat of battle.

He was completly right in saying something. I would hope if I say something and it should have a please on it, you all let me know soonest.

Thank you.

Things get frustrating enough without adding in a perception on all our parts that the guy trying to  let others know about something is a dink. Pleases and thank yous will help us all remain calm.

Courtesy is the lubricant (hehe he said lubricant) of society.

just thought I would share

O.K. I will go away now.

I guess just a point about be courteous to the others on Vox

It helps keep things fun so others don't go off upset over something trivial

I told guys  HEY if your not moving shut your engines off. Well a little please on that makes it a nicer way of pointing that out  and it doesn't  take any more tme and does not cost a thing.

Rather than ticking guys off In prefer to be nice. I know guys get heated over stuff. I have recieved a couple lectures from Vets a couple times. A little please and thank you courtesy would have made them a bit better to take. I guess that is my point

Well Aubrey, I do appreciate your polite behavior. I have great respect for anyone who can ignore being bad-mouthed by some crank and still wish the guy a good evening, and actually mean it.

For those of you who don't know Aubrey, you should consider it  an honor to do so.

Shortly after he began playing, several of us were beating back a big GV attack. I rolled in to bomb a Panzer and just as I went to pickle the bomb, I spot Aubrey in an M3 right next to the enemy tank. I was fortunate not to killshooter myself. Well, I raised dickens with him about that.

The next day, I get an e-mail from Aubrey, apologizing for his being in the way! Well, I was floored. If anyone should have offered an apology, it was me. I did exactly that too. I was truly and justifiably shamed by his remarkable gesture.

"You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din."

My regards,

Widewing

I hate to say it but normally when a dude burst out with an expletive it is normally because he messed up and it was his own fault. Ya know, bien a dummy and all. :D

I personally ignore it because I know he's just letting off steam and the value of his off the wall remark = a BIG ZERO! So I normally say nothing and keep on trucking.

Aubrey took it a step farther. but please is kinda pushing it. Like,
"Would you PLEASE get the hell outa my way so I can kill the dude!" I think not!

However, My hat goes off to you Aubrey, Sir! :)

Now don't let it happen again!:D
