I don't get HBO but just got done watching the entire first season on DVD  and it was great.  I will rent the new season when it comes out on DVD and watch it in a couple or three  sittings.

Just finished episode 7 of the first season, been renting them through Netflix. Have to admit I find the series highly entertaining and I'm not sure if I should be worried or not. Al makes me laugh just about every time he talks.....

In all honesty, it's sad to say but it's the vulgar language which is keeping me watch it. I think it would just be a dull western were it not for the foul language of that show.....definitely not something I would recommend to my parents.

It's one of the reasons I keep HBO on my cable. Awesome.

What floors me is how this whole series is based on actuall people. Its amazing to think that all these characters actually lived one day in deadwood. Infact the vulgarity was so bad in deadwood that at one point that banned fould language in public.
