Sad indeed. What is sad also that the Guernica death toll figure is clearly based on Communist propaganda. Do these people realize what would have happened
if Stalinists had won in Spain?

I alway root for the Madrid anarchists whenever i read about Spanish Civil War...anyone know a book by a pilot recounting his action in that conflict?

And Mölders who turned anti-Nazi and stopped wearing his medals/badges on duty as a token of protest.
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Interesting note in the article that the "Moelder's Letter' was forged by British Intelligence.

I've wondered about that for years after coming across mention of it in the Goebbel's Diaries.
