After seeing several threads about GV conflicts recently I just thought players should know that 1HUNGLO and 1REDRUM have been hosting a GV Training Camp in the Dueling Arena for the past month. I learned quite a bit from the two of them so far. If you enjoy operating tanks in the MA you should find it worth your while to attend. It is held in the Dueling Arena (Field 42) on Sunday Nights at 20:00 hrs EST and Wednesday Nights at 20:00 hrs EST. The sessions will start off with a warm up, then build up to some drills, and usually after an hour, live battle scenarios take place. There’s no camping, no planes dropping bombs, it’s strictly GV against GV. Last night the training block focused on learning to kill Tiger Tanks with Panzers. The session started off with a warm up with Panzers shooting at static targets (Tigers). Eventually it progressed to the Tigers going mobile but still not shooting. The final part of training, which is the battle phase, consisted of a group of Panzers hunting down a single Tiger with weapons hot on both sides. All the guys I trained with in my group did a great job – 3HIGH, BRIGS, BUDCORE, and GETSOME. GETSOME and BRIGS were good sports during the last battle (They took a good lumping and dished it out too).
