Yup, I always have at least one other game I play concurrently with AH. I always play Everquest and mix in there some single player strategy game like Hearts of Iron 2 or Civ 3. Between AH and those other two very different games you never get burned out on any of them.

he probably has been slash...it is DWEEB week here in JB-land so we are able to fly anything that we want to until April 1st.

though, most of us fly a wide variety of planes and have fun screwing around for a few days during dweeb week before we jump back into our trusty LW planes and f'gettaboutit.  (EVEN when given alternatives)

how quickly i grew bored once i upped an LA and stopped relying on skill and cunning to bring down planes.

(hehe...couldnt resist that one.)

82, may i suggest that you spend your time selecting and then hunting down a particular player and killing them often and with great verve?  it can do wonders for the sportsman in you.

I work on my house. Which if it were possible might require me to quit my job as well. That is if I didn't need the $$$ to fix the box of rotten wood.

82, there are tos of reasons for "burn out"... and i have experienced many of them LMAO

there is also no golden answer for each person, it is a personal thing.

i can say try going on a kill streak. get up high, fly super safe, reload at bases over a sector for cons, and dont land until you have 25 kills in the air.

once you get past 10 or so the adreniline goes up each engagement, thinking "oh please please let me avoid this HO" or whatever ; )

-or-

since it's dweeb week, tak up a weird plane, like a hurricane 1 and fly at 1000 feet, egging people into a fight. nothing will be able to turn with you pretty much, and you can have alot of fun.

just some suggestions.

and see you in the skies tonihgt
I don't know what to put here yet.

I can generally feel the burnouts coming on, and take off when I start getting frustrated. Every time I feel it coming, I smoke a J and head to my gf's. All is better after that :p

Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.

Respond to these with:

"Maybe not. You got a friend coming over?"

That should help you out Gunner.

Stare at Hondo's avatar for about 2 weeks with no blinking. When your eyes finally cage themselves begin flying again. Works everytime.:D

Try switching planes for awhile. Or try changin fighting styles. If you BnZ start knife fighting, if you knife fight, BnZ. Or simply just walk away for a little while.
