Heh, read it in new issue of Air and Space today.
The Article written by Larry Lowe starts:
Last Summer, an E-Rumour spread throughout cyberspace about a radical new Aircraft. "Northrop has delivered prototype for the new F/A-37" the posters claimed. "Its a Mach 3.5 supercruise Stealth fighter/bomber/interceptor with a very wide combat radius".
It goes on to go into the rumour about how wild it was. Then is says:
Researchers traced the origin of the phtos to the Navy Eye on the Fleets Web Site, where the original images of the Photographers mate 3rd Class Tyler Clements had been posted
Just remember kids, You post something on the internet, and possibly create an elaborate hoax or lie, And "Researchers" will uncover the truth and excommunicate you from the community forever or until you come back with a different Alias. We've seen a few examples around here lately.
