lets make money by blood
« on: March 28, 2005, 04:30:10 AM »
Yeah its nothing new in the US history. Its quite common that US support all armed conflicts if they can make some money out of it.

So in the name of forgoten puppy free country of USA will sell F-16 to Pakistanian dictator.  When neighbour India start to whine about it, all what USA do, is selling more weapons India ...   Hell Yeahhh...  that makes sense ... let russia sell S400 to china,  NK could sell Nukes to Iran and we will all live in peace .... what a briliant Idea.

Do you agree ?

May be we could export some Semtex to palestine, once US will donate weapons to "peace thirsty" israel.

edit: forgot to post a link http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/03/25/jet.sale/index.html

India isnt ruled by Dictator, is it ?

anyway you probably mistaken UK with Russia

anyway i agree when 2 countries were about to start war 1 year ago, its good idea to sell weapons to both of them.

It will contribute to world peace, security and for sure it will eliminate thousands terrorist who could assemble dirty bomb.

Not bad idea at all.

So all EU have to do, to get rid of international critics because of selling weapons to China, is to offer same weapons to Thaiwan as well.... and all of us will be happy

I believe that for some reason whatever Krista would think Josie would take up a contrary opinion.

The UK is selling jets to India for about £1 billion. To comply with Labours ethical foreign policy, they've  taken off the 'place bombs here' stickers and replaced them with Smilies :D

Worked in Indonesia. Suharto promised not to use all those light tanks against his own people, and he was a great guy. Shame about East Timor though.

I'm confused by Lada's rant.  Apparently it's wrong to sell
weapons to nations that are friendly, but it's perfectly ok to
give AK-47s to every tom dick and harry in Asia and Africa?

     So I'm guessing it's that he's against making money?

Well, Rino... it's only the US that ever sold weaponry to nasty people.

Remember when we armed North Korea?

In the US, unlike other countries, the arms business is not state owned.

Aha .. i got your point .... so there is nothing wrong to sell weapons to those who are freindly to us ...

ok ... i forget ... it was not baaad to sell weapons to SH, while he were friends..

So all that BS about democracy that US president use, is probably product of ill mind. His favourite "democracy= peace" is now " friendly dictatores= sell them weapons"

ok then .. if do not see anything wrong about it.

Yeah thats solid argument for selling weapons to the country, whitch is ruled by some General for 2 decades. I agree that this argument is so strong, that  it doesnt matter if country is or is not democratic.

Just say, that all that BS from bush about democracy is crap, for domestical folk and i will stop wonder. Because if US will sell weapons to Iran, you will probably defend it as well.
