TRACK: Ice Arena Normal
CAR: Toyota Corolla Rally Car ('98)
MODS: Snow tires only. No other mods.
AIDS: TCS & ASM disabled for wheel users. Others may use TCS & ASM.

Notes:
- Indy007 carries 50kg ballast this week.
- Funkypants returns to zero ballast.

RULES:
- Gran Turismo mode practice only. No arcade mode or drafting AI cars.
- Lowest single lap time wins.
- Post times in this thread by Monday AM.
- Winner picks next week's track, car, and mods.
- Winner must carry 50kg ballast in next week's competition. Subsequent wins add 50kg ballast for each win, up to a maximum of 200kg. If winning streak is ended, 50kg is removed each week that the driver does not win.
- Oil change and car wash allowed.
- Try not to cut corners or hit walls too much.

Best I can do so far is 49's.
Car seemed a lot better when I adjusted the center diff to 50/50.

Also from now on I'm going to try to capture my best lap each week (with video capture card on my pc) and post video here. Not so much as proof but for entertainment purposes.

Comeon guys. Easy 2nd - 3rd gear track, in the perfect car for it

I haven't sat down for more than 15 minutes to run it and I'm putting down 47's with ballast.

I have to master the 'drift' thing.. I'll try some more rear wheel biais.

50.386, but ugly as hell, I basically used every wall in the circuit...

I don't bother downshifting from 3rd... the extra acceleration on 2nd never goes forward anyways...

Now that I think of it... has this car tunable gears out of the shop? Might have to look there.
