Skin Problems!

I have a problem using my skins.  Not sure if anyone else is having the same problem.  The only skins that the game will allow me to use in MA, DA, TA, and CT are the ones that were automatically downloaded.  But i cant use the ones that i download from AH-skins.com.  Some skins that work in MA, will not work offline.  Does anyone know why this is???

You can only use the skins that you download in the MA. The skins from AH-Skins work offline and those of us that make maps can use those skins in maps, but we cannot use the files downloaded from MA  in maps.

The skins you download online have been submitted and approved. The skins on AH-skins.com have just been uploaded, not all of those are historically accurate.
