funked's post was tongue in cheek...

Not that i am really bothered, just seems suprising that when an American posts about American FF incidents, you get all into a hissy fit at the british.

So it's cool to make tongue and cheek comments such as that about death?

Atleast we know where you stand. It's okay to joke about an incident made by Americans but god forbid a similiar subject is brought up about Brits or any other country for that matter. We wouldn't wanna offend anyone now would we.

ok im so very sorry. you are right, i am wrong, say what you want about friendly fire.  it is because i am so passionately anti american that i brought it up, everything any european says here is to spite americans.

i cant be bothered to argue.

You really don't get it do you? It's okay to make a sick joke like that about an American FF incident and you'll look right past it. But now someone else brings up something about Brits and boy your all on it.

It's not cool to joke about this crap. If it offends you when it's about your countrymen then it should do the same when it's someone elses. War isn't fun in games and neither is accidental deaths due to friendly fire.

You are an idiot aren't you GS? So I guess you think it's cool to joke about soldiers being accidentally killed by friendly forces?

My point was to show just how sick saying something like that is. It sure opened Furballs eyes. I'm sure if I had used another country as an example someone else would have stepped up too. It's cool though to make jokes at the expense of the Canadians or Brits that died during those incidents and at the expense of the people who now have to live with it for the rest of their lives. I guess because my statement was a little more blatant it got Furballs attention.

What amazes me is he said Funkeds comment was tongue in cheek. Does it really matter whether it's tongue and cheek or blatant? Someone still died in the FF incident either way and someones living with that mistake for the rest of their lives.

Oh so because they didn't avoid it he couldn't at all be referring to the Patriot incident and the Tornado or the F-16 incident with the Canadians.

Especially when the topic is "Brit Marines in action-awsome coordination".

LOL why this thing soo serious.. its just a funny vid. doesnt matter what country they are from. the site that posted it stated it was just a very funny vid of a brit marine photo op that went kinda ...not as planned.

LIGHTEN UP CROWD

btw when there are 100,000 of thousands of guys/gals running around with guns, bombs, missles, artillery, warplanes from anywhere from 5ft away on a dark sandy night or from 35k accidents are gonna happen. Hell i almost had my right foot blown off by a 12ga courtesy of my duck hunting buddy and a piece of barbwire..friendly fire isnt intentional....we still hunt every year together....of course i walk behind him now...LOL.
