OK, I got the boom invasion stripes reworked, and they extend almost to the tail now.
The problem with the 38 skin file is the wings, booms, and radiator housing areas seem to be at different scales, so the correct width of a stripe on one section looks wrong in the other. Lots of fiddling and tweeking and in game inspecting.
Should look awesome in the game at combat distances though!
Guppy, don't knock yourself out trying to get a noseart done for me - what I have is not great but acceptable. When I saw the quality of the noseart you did on the P-51B profile I couldn't resist asking. I understand you're pretty busy with work right now though.
I'm going to put the skin on the shelf and let her cool off, then look her over one more time before submitting her later next week.
It'll be a sharp skin for the 479th guys!
