Perk points

Just wondering if anyone else feels that the perk point system needs to be reworked?

The other day I was in a tiger I had 25 kills before I got shot down. I still lost 62.4 perks.

I dont have a problem with the way perks are figured, but I personally think the eny value should be higher on perked rides.
I understand the idea about the limited eny thing if one side is out numbered, but how about setting a maximum eny instead of min. It is hardly worth the risk to take a tiger due to the fact that you get nothing for your risk.

I am not saying that the risk of losing points should be eliminated completely, but rather lessened, because that risk is what makes perked rides so thrilling.

I am not sure what would be the best approach to fixing the system, just looking for input from others.

Heck, with the new icon system I think they should at least double perk costs.

Not that it matters anyway, with my first 'Crowwe' account I had 12k, with 'Delirium' I had 9k, and I already have 2k with this new name.

No. IMO there are already enough "perks" to perked rides, I cannot see the value in adding further advantages to perk vehicles or aircraft. A person takes a perked ride out to have an advantage in a fight, and it costs; there ought to be some element of chance involved.

i dont think the perk system should change but, it seems like something should change. Not sure what, its almost not worth taking up a perk ride, IMHO none except the Ar234 and Me262 have any real advantage in the MA. Its almost a waste to take them up, as soon as someone sees that perk tag your the main target. For planes such as the F4U-4, Ta-152, and Spit 14...this sucks.

I think they should perk some Bombers like the b24, b17's and lancs.  This might stop the dive bombing with heavy bombers as we all know this was not in real life.

up a perk ride to get lots of kills or defend a heavy attacked base or make a heavy attack.

Perk rides should not give you any new perks, that would be senseless. Then when you have enogh points for your first perk ride you would exclusively use em to make more perks... which would limit the planeset to 5 planes, 1 tank.

It makes sense that eveyone goes after the perk rides to get it out of the fight. Very tough to get into attack mode knowing there is a plane or planes in the area that can shoot at you and zoom away effortlessly, and you can't do a dang thing about it.
If you want perk points, take up one of the more challenging planes and get kills; especially perk planes :)

I feel the same that tiger is way over perk/kill payback ratio. I can lose 20 panzers 1 after the other and not take perk losses, but 1 good panzer driver can kill a tiger with 3 shots. Tiger basically useless to up anymore unless your the lowest online country and can get it for 25 pnts. Perks to hard to come by to spend on a vehicle that is easily killed. Most guys use tigers to spawn camp with anyway.

Useless? I saw quite often 4-5 panzers shot at single Tiger simultaneously and got killed one after another w/o even inflict any damage to it.
Yep, somebody can to kill Tiger with first shot, i know. There are just not to many guys who can do it.

This doesn't apply to most of the perk planes, people going after perk planes has nothing to do with thier "danger", as can be seen by the insane suicidal attacks people throw at perk planes.

Perk planes are _SUPPOSED_ to cost.  It should be near impossible to break even in them.

Also GVs have a lot of weird oddities to them, but most can be chalked up simply to one person knowing what they're doing, and the other assuming they do.  It's a binary model, either the round kills or it doesn't.  There is no "hitpoints" it doesn't matter how many times you hit them if they don't pierce.
