Jan Paul II pass away

J. Paul II has been a great Man, beyond being a great Pope; that you might condivide his own, and the Church point of wiew is of less importance  in front of the respect everyone has to show for the Man and his suffering in his last hours.
Please, let this thread be a respectful memory of a great Man.

Disputation , jokes and disrespectful attitude can be showed elsewhere, for once

Stegor I think that's disputation and disrespectful of my point of view, since I neither have anything against the Church's nor the Pope's life work, nor did I ever say any such thing.

tho I understand if you've had enough precedents to make hasty conclusions on unread posts.

moot mine was not a judgement against you , nor others in particular.
My was only a request to let this thread be a memory and a tribute of respect to a great person.

Sorry if I gave you that impression, it was not my intention to deem on something, not the moment at all.

A great man. He probably had more to do with the eventual death of communism than any other single person.

You'd think you could at least honor him by spelling his name right. XD

Regardless, he will be missed by lots, regardless of religion.

Incorrect, he gave up his Polish name when he became Pope.  Perhaps the Latin spelling would be most accruate, but I don't think it matters.
