Tiger Damage Model (not a flame)
« on: April 03, 2005, 07:24:52 PM »
I know there has been a lot of people griping about the indestructable nature of the tiger. I too thought they were a little too strong.

But last night I saw a Tiger survive...unscathed...3 hits with 4000 lb bombs.

Now I wasn't close enough to see how close they were, but Tedrik, a player I know that IS NOT a whiner, came on shortly thereafter and complained about it saying they were good hits.

I really think there must be a coding bug that does not calculate damage properly on the tiger. Surviving 3 4K's can't be possible.

saw the same thing last night on a tiger. I dropped a total of 32 500lbers on this tiger all from multiple drops from an A20. He never even started smoking. This seems to be a problem.

Any idea who the tiger was? I've yet to drive a tiger that could survive any bomb damage. I'm either tracked, eng or turret out, or dead. Usually dead.
