A fiber cable upstream of our provider was accidentally cut today, leaving us severed.  Our provider (Savvis) expected that this will not take long to repair given the number of sites affected.  However, they did not know the severity of the problem or what was involved in fixing it.

Unfortunately, this message will not find you until we are accessible again.  But I'm posting it anyway so you'll know what happened.  Thanks for your patience and our apologies for this inconvenience.

I'm sorry that this has drawn out so long.  We've been waiting for the problem to be resolved and were told a few hours ago that it would not be much longer but obviously it has been.  

Although this problem is outside of our control, we have taken this opportunity to review ways to minimize the effect of events such as today and have come up with some changes that will be implemented in the next release of Aces High.  Once again, we thank you for your patience.
