AH2 graphics...(skins)
« on: April 05, 2005, 05:12:18 PM »
Hey, can anyone help me or tell me if there even is a problem with my graphics in AH2 or something i can change. If you look at the picture NATEDOG posted in the NEWs forum. It seemed like the skins use to look like that, or at least better then what i see everytime i go on now.

They lookd awesome and then i bought a new comp and new graphics card (Geforce 6800) and the skins dont look near as good as they use to anymore. At first i thought it was just because when they are put on AH it expands them or something.

Is there anything i can do to get that Hi Res look?

rightnow i have all graphic sliders turnd to More performance, but only because i dont really notice any signifcant improvement with them turnd up 100%.

thanks for the help:)

PS if this isnt really a problem and they arent suppose to look the way they do in that pic. Then thats perfectly fine im happy with it either way, just want to know if its POSSIBLE for me to do something and make it look better.

and make sure your ah2 vid settings are appropriate?

and make sure your vid card settings, such as FSAA, AF are also set proper;y?

Set the maximum texture size to 512, in the video setup for the game.

If you are running at 1280x1024 resolution or lower, you really cannot see any difference between 512 and 1024 texture sizes.
