I am a master and I know the difference.
Been Qing for a long time.
When I do the do everyone wants in on it.
I used to hold about 4 or 5 BIG BBQ`s and parties a year when I had my welding shop.
A few of us would get together and put the clean on the shop, drop black plastic from the walls and fire up the pits. I used to cook up about 8 big briskets, some yard bird, ribs, etc, etc.
I had quite a few try to beat my Q and we left the judging up to the peeps that came. I have never lost yet.
One New Years Eve I had bought a hog at the livestock sale.  We cleaned that sucker and cut him right down the middle. I put the Super Jackal Qdom on him. The people nearly killed theirselves chowin down. Was told it was the best they had ever eaten by nearly everyone there.
The boys in blue in the county and the small town cops nearby used to love my New Years Eve BBQ bashs. They said they didn`t have to worry where and what everyone was doing. They knew where they would be.
We`d have anywhere from 20 to 50 Harleys out front and around 30 to 40 cars parked on the lease land I had at the time.
  I know my Q. :D
If gas is what you have to go with because of city ords, etc , or maybe just convenience then more power to ya. The main thing is your doing it and enjoying it.
For me, I`ll stick to my wood.

I always eat at the BBQ joints that advertise "Gas Cooked" rather than "Mesquite Smoked".
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

A 1200cc Moped ! And yeah I used Hard luggage. Rather than stupid throw over leaky leather, vynil sh*t that anyone can just walk off with. Probably because I use my Bike and have travelled widely on it, rather than strutting my stuff and posing up and down the high street of some hick town, I find that a decent luggage kit is realy good and allows me to bring the food, drink and other stuff you rattled off Jackal1

Oh but of course Jackal1, I'm not a biker! because I actualy ride thousands of miles per year can work on it myself, and live my life on two wheels.

Personally, if you spend $3500 on a gas grill, it will NOT taste better than being cooked on a Vermont Castings which I paid $700 for at Home Depot.

My buddy spent $4000 on his Viking which, as he put "The best grill money can buy".  Let's see he's had two years and has had work done on the thing 5 times.  He can usually be seen at my house eating grilled food.   He's "too proud" to return his "braggart's grill".

It's the Cook, NOT the grill.

actually you woulda seen the first one I posted, the sports bar & grill setup on Monster House. Calspas is one of their sponsors and loves to get their name out there. It takes a crane to move the 3 giant pallets into your average backyard.

Plus.. you need cheap, vinyl flame stickers and a bolt-on wing to make it pimp for MTV.

Your so full of crap I bet your eyes are brown.
You got a porta potty on that thing too?
At least we agree on you not being a biker. I`m proud to see ya making progress.
If you put all the housewares , etc on the damn thing , for God`s sake get a station wagon. You must be some kind of comedy.
I don`t know so much about you living your life on two wheels, but I don know you are hitting on 1 cylinder.
Make that Jethro and Elly May both on a moped with Granny strapped to the "luggage rack" in her rockin` chair. :rofl

Well..the rebuilding of my grill was a floop. So I have odered the five burner Beefeater. SL4000. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend. But the guy at the place where I took my grill said they were the best in the business right now. Even better than the Altma. I can use wood or coals in this grill too. Which is important to me. So thanks guys.
