I have a  1960 Francis Barnet livingin the garage with a 1960 T100 Triumph, a Daytona 1200 and another Daytona Engined Speed Triple. Bit differnt but the FB is the fore runner of what you guys have in those little 100cc Yams.

Ok so you say you have rust in the gas tank?
Well there may be hope.
there are gas tank sealers on the market do a google for it.
Also if any specks of rust went thrue to you carbs there is a high chance of a cloged jet.

Also gasoline turns into kinda a lacuer when uts old and this too will clog the jets.

If not already done clean inside of tank and seal it then do a complete carb cleaning.

Rust in the tank.

Put a couple a pounds of nuts n bolts in the tank, place it on a paint shaker, shake and bake for a while. Empty, rinse with gas, repaet in necessary.

Should get the flakes that were about to break free and clog ur flo.
