ENY means when we eez reeely beezy in zee ahreena, you dozent gets eny pleenz.

Or in readable English, when too many folks get on in one country, to keep things from getting lopsided in favor of that country with all those people in it, they start making certain planes unavailable.  As you get more people, the lower ENY value planes are taken off the list.  You try to take a SpitV for example, and it will tell you the current ENY value is greater than that of the plane you want.  Most perk planes are a 5 ENY, which means they are among the first to become unavailable.

Its designed to balance things out so that no one can get an unfair advantage.

But it doesn't work as it was intended to do. All it does is make people mad....Well except those on the country with the low numbers. So I can live with it since Rooks don't have numbers very often anymore.  :)

it's not the size of the dog that matters -  it's how hard it bites.

Have you seen the ENY value on the clipboard?  In the list alongside the name of each plane you can choose when you go into the hangar, there are several columns.  One is marked ENY.  That is the number used to determine which planes are made unavailable first when the ENY limiter begins to kick in, starting with the lowest numbers first.  If there is something specific you dont understand about the process, perhaps you can narrow down what it is that is unclear?  I'm afraid I dont know how to make it much clearer than I have put it.  Perhaps you should try in the Training Arena and ask a Trainer?  Ren or one of the other trainers might be better able to explain things.

I'll take this as a serious question.

I intended to point you to the scoring page but I guess it’s been removed.

ENY and OBJ are values given each plane, originally for scoring purposes against other planes and ground target and later for determining perk point awards.  The formulas were posted in the help files but hardly anyone really cared what the formulas were and I think those published were far out of date anyway.  As has been stated above, most users will only care that ENY value affects which planes are available to fly.
Easy in-game again.

Actually HiTech stated in one thread that the ENY Limiter IS working.
Corkyjr on country jumping:
In the end you should be thankful for those players like us who switch to try and help keep things even because our willingness to do so, helps a more selfish, I want it my way player, get to fly his latewar uber ride.

it works as intended, it only makes the horde mad when they are forced to horde-rape with less uber aircraft.
