Yup, the D9 is now porked... it'll barely do 400 mph at 22k and it takes for ever to get up to even that. After you hit 380 in level flight that extra 20 mph takes awhile to build. I took it up after a group of 30k B-17's and at 31k I couldn't get it over 350 in level flight.

it's time for a change...

Love the hawgs vs. IJN but i've had my fill of it... I've learned a lot flyin on both sides,  but it's time to move on to something else

Would like to see some LW vs RAF... maybe like late 42-43 ??

But with the maps gone now... maybe the Naval version of the LW ? :p

Tested the 190D-9 speed offline: 100% fuel, no DT, no wind:
22k: 424 mph
30k: 405 mph

Same as in AH1.

VWE, the 190's only got a graphic change, the flight model is unchanged except for the drag from the DT/bomb rack. Before if you took a DT/bomb and dropped it, all the drag was gone. Now with the 190's (and all other planes that have been redone to AH2 specs) any DT/ord you take, the drag from the pylon is now modeled after you drop the DT/ord.

I tested the speed OTD with WEP and without offline and they are identical for all clean, and they are 6-8MPH slower (the D-9 being 8MPH slower, A-5 being 6MPH slower) with the DT gone but with the rack still there.

HT has said that nothing else was changed.
