I have DirX9.0b installed now and have 9.0c files in my d/l directory
but as I recall I did install DirX9.0c a couple
of months ago and it PORKED something so I
backed out to 9.0b using a System Restore point.
As to the on board sound, it's been just fine up
until now and I'm not really inclined to start opening up
the system and dicking around. Being retired now
I don't make the big bucks anymore and cant'
afford to upgrade my system every time some SW entity adds
more bells, whistles or eye candy.
I'd be perfectly happy resorting back to DOS AW, without the $6/hour rate of course
