naw Guppy, they make these things out of plastic, hardened foam, and carbon-fiber these days.... it should only break into about 6 or 7 pieces!  :)

Stang, I think they are using the flight model from AWIII for that 38. Remember how many times ya bounced that one down the runway before it stopped LOL!!

this is what I've been flying lately.

http://www.icare-rc.com/stinger.htm

Makes my knees knock every time. Does about 120-130mph with 28" wingspan and it gets small real quick.

Think I'm gonna get the LA7 for some more relaxed flying.

unfortunately I can't afford any of these :( Got one son in collage, and the second one warming up for it ! Aww the heck with being a good Dad, I think I'm going to let them pay there own way!  LOL!!

Been looking at some cheaper things, but I'd lke to have something with 4 channels, and something that is not only good slow..so I can get the hang of it :)... but something that when I DO get the hang of it I can have some fun throwing it around a bit. Any suggestions?

ya a GWS E-starter real fun plane you can get one up for 135$ and the plane itself is only 35$ very stable still fly mine. But another plane I love for the same price is their uglier slow stick, you would love that too..
heres a pic, flys great on stock brushed motor too..
servos x3: 35$
reciever x1: 20$
GWS transmitter: 30$
esc:(electronic speed control) 10$
plane 35$
