Last nights event in the CT Arena
CT Staffers I was told that the CT will run an event on Thrusdays "Close Escort" I think thats what it is called.
I have flown this on 3 occasions and I am very disapointed.
Here are the reasons,
1- The dot dar is on and we can see the bombers take off so you can hit them before they get there I think we hit them last night 2 sectors before they hit the target. I think you should have Friendly dot dar on and enemy dot dar off.
2- The tower based radar is way to big and over lapping you must set the radar circle smaller so the attacking bombers can fly around the radar circles.
3- to much waiting time for the evnt to start I showed up at 10 pm and it did not start until 10:30.

My personal opion is that the Combat Staffers need to do a better job if they want to run an event. I have flown in the CT many times on weekends and I just can not take the Furballing no more. You guys have a great arena but it needs to be better. I brought my whole squad over the last 3 thrusdays for this event. I also will say that I will not fly in the CT at all untill things get better. I think that its a waste of time if I want to furball I can goto the main. You guys need to change somethings up and change with the times. I also have talked to several pilots that left the CT cause it the same old thing.

I am not out to Offend anyone this is just my opion.
Also How do you become a CT Staffer?

I think you're right about this.  Unfortunately, we were only a few minutes from take-off when Stream (at your prompting, maybe?) got in touch with me to make this suggestion.  Communications problems were compounded by the fact that I had no VOX capability (still trying to figure out my new controls).  By the time I finally figured out what was being discussed, the mission had taken off and I didn't think it was appropriate to change substantive settings mid-mission (altho' I did change the friendly collisions after hearing numerous explosions around the tower).

This is something I probably should have figured out myself long before the mission, but I'm not that clever.  Future mission planners should probably remember to clue in the CMs, too.

I think this is inherent in any mission run in any non-special-event arena.  People are out fighting each other, and have to be herded into the mission, and that takes time.  I believe it was a good ten minutes after TK started trying to get people going before everyone was in place.  Solution is probably to start the mission earlier.

Acknowledged.  Sorry.

It helps to get lobotomized at your own expense before you apply.  So far as I know, there are no clear application procedures.
