LOL - got the PS2 and thought great join in HAHAHA.

Still trying to get National B license and have a Honda Civic an 4 grand to spend.  :D

Someone should have told me this is hard :)

So far I haven't driven anything that doesn't understeer like an understeering thing.  Couldn't even get the back end of the Beemer out - full lock and planted right foot and it just ploughs on. Find the skid model a bit odd.

Practice practice.

Sparks, there's two problems:
1.  Driver aids.  In the "settings" menu when you are at a race track, you can go in there and turn off driver aids, which will help the RWD cars get the tail out.  Unfortunately you can't do this in the license tests, only when you are in one of the race events.
2.  Tires.  The cars are issued with what GT4 calls "Sport Tires".  These are some kind of super sticky rubber that gives road cars 1.5g cornering ability and very little wheelspin.  When you buy a car, go into the tuning shop and get the N1, N2, and N3 tires.  These will give grip and traction levels much closer to the real world, and you will be able to hang the tail out on the RWD cars.

My best was 1:37.080

Mods:
Weight Reduction Stage 2
Semi-Racing Exhaust
Sports Chip
NA Stage 2
R2 Tires
Racing Brakes
Semi-Racing Suspension
Wing

Settings:
Springs (kgf/mm):  10.4/5.0 F/R
Ride Height (mm):  85/85 F/R
Shock Absorbers:  4/4 F/R
Camber Angle 4.0/0.0 F/R
Downforce 30/0 F/R

It still had determined understeer at low speed but above 120 mph or so the wing took over and it was neutral to the point of being spooky.

I'll post a video once my FTP server un****s itself.
