Wrong game, but cool none-the-less.
Dogfighting these in jets is a blast.

Nice screenies!

How's the gameplay in that game? I thought about checking it out, but I wasn't too confident about FM and gameplay.

Quick review of it would be nice. :)

I read a review of it (Flight Journal?) that said it was one of the better jet dogfighting sims out there.  Flight models and graphics were very good.
However, they were dissappointed becuase with Vietnam being a jungle country, the landscape came out looking like Kansas - flat, not real trees, etc.
However this was only thier opinion, not mine, because I've never played the game.

Aim9B even locking on from 7miles? wth? They had a range of less than 5 miles, and the closer the better. That doesn't seem right to me.

Someday I want to check WoV out, too. Looks great.

What model and year did they finally add the 20mm gun to the F-4?

aim 7 probably?  he does mention radar lock, which would lead me to believe it wasnt a sidewinder he was shooting.

edit: thoug it does look more like an aim9 after i actually look at it

Not sure what year, but the F-4E was the variant that introduced the nose gun, until then you could still have a gun, it just had to be in a pod under the belly/wings.
