I still have a .60 Fw190 that I haven't flown...
First built up scale plane that I've done. Need to do some work on one of the flaps and landing gears. Then I might be ready for some Taxi work...

Jets look a little intimidating right now, but would make fun for hearding cattle...

It looks like a Quarter scale B-25 that looses on engine and does a nice cartwheel through the cornfield...

You can get RC turbines from about 3 to 150 pounds of thrust.

Depending on the turbine, you can run propane, kerosene, deisel fuel, even paraffin with an oil mixer.

Exhaust temperatures tend to be around 1,000F.

VWE: Hehe,..the biggest worry I have with the F15 would occur if one engine flamed out, especially right after take-off.

A friend of mine had a R/C jet , it was a canard .It flew for ..hmm about 6/7 seconds before sticky roll control brought it down.I only saw the video of the crash ,but you could clearly hear some joker from ATC ask if crash and rescue was needed ....ouch!!!!!!
I have a piper cub and a stinson voyager (yet to fly)The only plane i have written off (so far ) crashed into the side of a warehouse , i went round to the security hut and asked the little indian guy if i could get my r/c aircraft back that had just hit his ware house , poor guy nealry had a heart attack , all he could say airplane crash !!!!! airplane crash !!!! took me 5 minutes to calm him down and explain it was a model plane

I always wanted to do a CH 53 helicopter RC in a big scale and even started saving up for it. But then puberty hit and chasing P**** took most of the money. Now 15 years later I still want to do that helo but the money is just outrageous and non-existant with all the other things that are going on.

Here is an RC AH-64 that I just found looking around a little. Its an electric motor but hell it comes ready to fly.

I just may start looking around for some scale plans of a CH-53 and try to start one from scratch. Hmmmm now to figure out the budget.

Yeah they are and really fun to fly as well if you find some good thermals or a nice off shore breeze. I've got a Ki-84 and bf109F slope glider that are a blast to fly around. Used to have a P-51D slope glider but that is now parked some where on the cliff face of Torrey Pines. Don't fly sail planes as much as I used to since I've got to drive to the desert to get the good thermals and I don't like flying my sail planes off cliffs at Torrey Pines.
