That looks kinda like Apollo 11 field in Van Nuys. I saw lots of jets out there, pretty amazing to see them in flight. The blast of air as they start up/taxi is something to see too. Some real skill goes into those, both building and flying.

It's right in the flight path of Van Nuys airport, the busiest general aviation airport in the world, so there's an altitude restriction that the R/C jets regularily bust. Pretty funny when you start needing to equip your R/C plane with a mode C transponder and coordinate your flight with SoCal approach...

Pictures will have to do Frenchy. I went to L.A. once and damn near got killed by a woman when I held the door open for her and moved to allow her to pass first.

LOL! That would be nice. My plane was fine with the ducted fans, but moving to turbines has given me reason to rip it apart and do a better job.
I need to find a real one I can get up close and personal with so I can get some good detail photos.

Nice looking, good figure. She was behind me and I just opened the door to let her pass first and she just stopped and looked at me, then proceeded to get in my face about how I was treating her as a second class citizen or suggesting she was not good enough to open the door herself,..it went downhill as I was busy fending off a purse to the head and obscenities flew from her like a drunken sailor.
It was insane.

Don't get me wrong..I love the plane..but the paint wear on the tail seems a little excessive.
