They probably won't take anything other than A-5s and A-8s. They don't want to mix versions, if I recall the debate when the P38s came out.

they should take the 4 and the 6..externally they are the same just about..but if ht wont accept them i have a question.
if yo find a skin you like and same colour cammo is on a mk4 and mk6 canb you assume there is one for the m5?

HTC has been accepting P-38H skins for the P-38G. However, they were virtually identical externally. I don't see an issue with the 190A as long as the weapons were the same. There's little to distinguish in terms of performance.

Performance was the main difference between versions. Also starting with the A5 the fuselage was lengthened, and things were moved around externally to rebalance the longer fuselage.
