I hate when people build things up too much, but the fireworks show I saw last night was incredible. Best I've ever experienced first hand, especially when coupled with the music and light show.

My son works for Disney, and they invited family members of the Disneyland "cast" (thats what they call employees) to get a sneek preview of the 50th anniversary parade and fireworks display.

I can't believe they are gonna do that every night for 5 years, but that is the plan.... well worth seeing.

Yeah.. I hate hearing it.... every fraggin nite.  When you live not even close to the theme parks you can hear them several miles away.  This mean it will only add to the crap..

Now heres something that I always find amusing.

People move near theme parks. In Disneys case they've had a fireworks display every single night for like forever.

Airports
Race car Tracks
Drag Strips.

They knew these things were there when they moved there.
They move there anyway then have the audacity to complain about the noise, traffic etc.

I've seen this first hand up here in Jersey.

We have a vey popular Dragstrip called "Englishtown Raceway Park ".
On any given night they will have all kinds of drag races including Rocket powered Funny cars

Now this thing has been there for 40 years. Everyone knows when they move there that its there and knows and is warned what to expect. and I stilll hear people all the time in no uncertain terms complain about the noise.. My question is always. "Well you knew it was there, why the hell did you move there for? and why are you bothering to stay if you dont like it so much?

Point is.
If you dont like wildlife in your back yard dont move to a rural area.
If you dont like cows and horses, Dont move next to a farm.
And if you dont like the amount of noise or traffic themparks,Airports,or Racetracks Create.
Then dont move to these types of areas. And if you do and decide you dont like it that much. Then move the hell out.

I saw a pretty awesome show at Epcot in 2000.. It was really quite an experience with the ammount of fireworks that were lit and the music that went along with it. It's pretty amazing they do that day in and day out 365..

I used to work at a rock quarry, and connected to that quarry was a waste management dump site, and not more than a quarter mile from that there was a huge neigborhood completely covered with plastic bags and garbage.

Now, the neighborhood was built well after that dump was created. What were they thinking, and how did they get people to move into those homes?

Oh, and they were not cheap homes by a long shot either.

Yeah, here in Jax we had a case where people moved near an animal shelter complained about the noise, got it shut down...

Doesnt make any sence. Tourist season is in the winter not the summer.

In any event I know they had it that thanksgiving week I was there. as is the case during the  week in Dec I mentioned.

Been there like 7 times now. whichis about 5 times more then what I would have liked.
Each time I've been there there were firworks at the end of the night.
