I wouldn't be too hasty in that judgement.

The LW won the air war. They shot down 7 A20s and 68 allied fighters of various types. Versus the Allies shooting down 48 LW fighters of various types.
But the allies killed the truck convoy, killed the radar factory completely, and killed 93% of the FLAK factory. So the allies suffered heavily in the air but almost completely won the ground part of the event.
The LW also lost several Me 262s this frame.
Btw ... talked to 68KO .. very good strategy with the Me 262s in the south and nicely cooridnate defense of the southern FLAK factory.
