« on: April 30, 2005, 08:57:04 PM »
Hi all...I host an  H2H room on a reg basis.
Neven had problems before but for a couple days Norton is bloking everything else fm connecting to my machine and window pops up for me to allow game to run ...
I know Skuzzy says you need to shot it down when you connect to their servers but when I host? no way!
Besides it worked fine before why is it suddently acting up?What should I do?

Try removing AH from your allowed program list and then re-allow it.  After AH is updated the .exe file is no longer the same one that was allowed before.

You cannot get a virus through the game.  AND you cannot get a virus if no other programs (particularly your browser or email) are running.
It is perfectly safe to shut down AV programs in the above scenario.  AV programs are vile and nasty to any program which has to read/write files, which Aces High does have to do.

If you will not shut them down, then you can expect to have a lot of issues when hosting.  Nothing we can do about it.
