NBA playoffs, fair weather fan.

I'm a fair weather Phoenix Suns fan. After they ran up the best record in the NBA as the highest scoring team in a decade, I still didn't really believe that they might be for real and actually stand a chance in the playoffs.

The Suns run a very fast paced game and are small, and lots of people think they might not match up against a more physical team.

Well, I don't know how far they willl go....but after seeing how they swept the Grizzlies, I feel they are for real and will be hard to stop. They have too many players able to score from anywhere on the court.

I'd like to see them play Miami for the title.

Anyone else following the playoffs much? Also, I would like Indianna to do well because of Reggie Miller

Reggie Miller grew up 5 miles from here. He was the 2nd best basketball player in his family.

I'm rooting for Reggie too.

The Washington Bullets will win this year's NBA championship.  Others need not apply

Considering how well the suns shoot the ball it would be a very hard test for Miami..(if they make it that far..)

Alot of teams are gearing for the shaq man, but if you actually have seen the heat play imo its their bench and depth thats been winning them games..

Alot of teams don't understand that..  NJ just found out the hard way...  Contain shaq and wade and D jones scores 30.. then Eddie Jones, then Zo, then Dooling, then Haslem's consistent play getting double doubles/owing the boards.. (riley has stacked our bench..been watching it all year..)

Heat Bench imo is the best in the NBA.. (alot of them could start on other teams.)

bench scoring wins at the primetime level... (dwayne wade/shaq superstars also help) we will see what the outcome is..  NBA playoffs are no joke upsets happen but the heat have the team to beat this year.. (the NJ dismantling should be proof of that..)

Ok...let me sum it all up in one word then:

MANU!!

NBA Finals MVP in the making.  I think the Spurs bench is every bit as good if not better and deeper than the Heat.  If the Heat can get by the Pistons then we may get to find out whose bench is better.  I dont see anybody in the West stopping Manu and the boys though.

Well, the Suns crushed Dallas 127-102.

Dampier (center) was outscored by 40-0 by Stoudemire ... looks pretty bad for Dallas if that trend contiunes.

I do think that Dallas will do better in game two. They are coming off a tough series and would be expected to be a little flat.

There is no "D" in Dallas.  Everybody knows it.  The Mavs need to make a decision to slow the game down or just run and gun with the Suns.  If they played run and gun they might have a better chance.  But its all moot.....

I'm a fair weather fan as well, but I think this Dallas - Phoenix series will be great. Nash is great, and when he gets on a roll he is almost unstoppable. Dallas always plays an exciting game. I hope the Mav's win, but I'd like to see Nash get a championship, too.
