Very seriously doubt your retailer will take the game back from you considering it came with the unique registration key which you used to create your account. More than likely there's no way to re-activate the key, meaning what good is it gonna do your retailer to refund your money? They can't resell that game if the key isn't functional. Anyways, that's how it worked when I bought my UO copy a few years ago. The retailer told me that it had a monthly fee, and there was no chance of a refund.

SORRY BUT,

Damn, why the hell did they realese it while still in BETA???

What for should I buy it anyway? to download more patches?? and if someone has 56k modem? who just spent 40$ on this game and than need to sit few HOURES to download the 60MB PATCHES!

I hope they will realese anpther cd or something, WHEN THE GAME WILL BE FINISHED,
good luck to them, but they started it on the wronge foot.

hur hur hur. tried to log into wwiionline last night, couldnt.....checked the forums.....no response.....checked playnet.com......no response......checked the offical chat room.......800 people in there complaining they cant get into the game! LMAO

The AH cheerleading team should spend all their time in the ww2ol chat room......HTC would see player base mushrooming. lol

hehe Swoop, i logged in yesterday night,
they had 6 servers up, each FULL to the Top,
and each with 1000 players, never seen
such before, it was crazy!!

No doubt that the Rats are turning it around. There's a new War Stories forum up at the SF site, with lots of player comments. Glad to see they've at least got a heap of shards online and everyone appears to be having a ball.

HELL yeah! LOL I was playing this game for some time a year or 2 ago hehe while still on my jet-sim-freaky-missile-no-guts-yes-glory kinda Sim stuff

got tired after too many patches releasd, im with 56k modem and my nerves arent strong enuff for it

moved to lighter sim, IAF, then USAF, some A/F18 flying hehe

For a moment I thought Jekyll had bravely put up a link to the StratFirst general or wwii online forumns. When I saw it was the story forumn I had to laugh. Going there and taking that as any measure of WWII Online success is tantamount to passing by the unwashed masses surrounding the Caste Rat and saying let them eat cake. These few, good and embeliished reports aren't enough to tip the scale.

The only thing the majority of WWII Online customers posting over there want right now is CRS blood. Or a refund.

(which could change, if they now get the fps and other problems resolved. and quick.)
