T-34 is incapable of stopping a Tiger and nearly so of the Panzer.

Karnak, I've got mixed feelings regarding the tanks selected.  The Tiger is indeed tough to handle, and I plan to ask Skuzzy to perk it.  It does in deed take a number of T-34's to stop a Tiger, but the same can be said for the Pnzr-IV.  It was not uncommon for a Tiger to have a 6 or 7 to 1 kill ratio against T-34's.  If the Tiger becomes too much of a problem in the set up, I'll restric it further or simply take it out.  In the mean time, I'll try to place it at a base where it can only be used defensively, for all practical purposes.  As for the T-34 vs. the Pnzr-IV, the T-34 has an edge in first-shot survivability against the IV, but the IV usually gets in two shots for every one of the T-34's.  Pretty much a wash there as far as I can see.

Mmm ... and use Tempests to simulate P-39s.

(KIDDING ... but, actually, there oughta be something to simulate P-39s ... except perhaps the P-39 is one of the most unsimulatable?)

Sabre,

I mean that the T-34, as modeled in AH, cannot kill a Tiger.  It is physically impossible for it to do so.

Take a T-34 offline and go hammer on the Tiger drone.  Any angle, any range.

You can knock out the tracks on a Tiger, and get the kill when he towers.  Thats about it.

I agree on the G-6.  I'd rather have it any day than the G-2.  I dont care which one is faster, the G-6 is much more survivable.  It matches up well with the firepower on the Laffer.  Those peashooters on the G-2, along with the horrible ballistics means you spend your entire fight dodging HO attempts and doing nothing but scratching the other guy's paint (if you even hit him).

I have tried the experiment off-line, and was able to first wond the Tiger, then kill it.  Yes, it took quite a few shots, but event the drone T-34 took a number of shots to kill.  I'm not sure the off-line tank drones have the same toughness as the actual on-line tanks.  After all, the off-line drone planes don't use the real damage model either, at least as I understand it.  In any event, Tigers will only be enabled at 2 bases, and those two don't have remote spawn points, i.e. they're completely defensive.

I even tried parking a T34 with its muzzle INSIDE the tiger and shooting, no kill.  The M-8 could kill a tiger that way though.
