The rear end of the car looks to be inspired by the original GT40, while the front is definately Aston Martin inspired.

The tires on it suggest it might be a little speed demon.

Why did they call it a "Shelby"?  Gay name for a cool looking car.

Paying homage to the original GT-40's which Shelby did have a hand in and if the size looks right the name could hint at Shelby-like performance.

Not sure why you would say it is a gay name.  Carroll Shelby's name is one of the most respected names in the automotive industry.

I always thought that Carroll was a girls name until i saw it typed. First time i heard the name was in "gone in 60 seconds" or something. Second time was on a Dicovery show awhile ago about designing a Shelby prototype, but that was a convertible and didnt look anything like the one in these photos.

Reminds me of "Sheldon" ala "When Harry Met Sally".

"Do me Sheldon,  Drive me Sheldon"

Seeing that the guy who came up with the car has Carroll as his first name makes me want to say "I rest my case."

:D ;)

Lazs dunno about England in its entirity but Birmingham City Centre most City centres are traffic full , oh and the M6 and M25.

Plus I noticed on my traffic dodging ride to work this morning another one of Mr GATSO's speed cameras has appeared.

I prefer my suicidal dangerous antisocial bike thanks Lazs. It gets me there quicker costs me less and goes virtualy as quick ( but not past those bloody cameras )

Carroll Shelby was a great driver in the 50- 60's until a heart conditon forced him to quit. He decided to switch to building cars.
