Morpheus need your assist
« on: May 04, 2005, 09:18:54 PM »
I also had a problem where I would go from nothing to absolute black out and back again. There was no "grey" to "Black". When you pulled any G's that woudl start to bring you into grey out, the screen would go competely black. Again, just another bug or anomaly within the game that I fixed through a video setting.

I am having serious issues with this problem.  Quite often my screen goes completely black while pulling low g turns (2 to 3g).

Could you point me to the thread where this was discussed?

thanks

If I recall it was from installing the 1024 hi-res pack on a machine at work that didnt like it or couldnt handle it. I had also adjusted my screen resolution.

When I started seeing instant black outs I knew I had a problem with my settings. I deleted the hi-res textures, went back to the old ones, and also changed my screen resolution back to what I had and things were working fine again.

The other problem I had was a looong time ago in AH1. I was seeing what looked like hieroglyphics . That was on a laptop I had. I had messed around with the screen resolution and some settings within my video card and the game went bonkers when I'd start to black out. Changed everything back to the way it was before I had the problem and problem solved.

Was talking to levianthn last night. Basicly the same problem was happening to him.

He loaded 1024 pack and had also raised his screen resolution. After that he began to notice the problem.

He  reverted back to his old configuration and things are working fine for him.

Thanks guys,  I changed my resolution and got the new driver for my card.  Problem seems to be fixed.
