Trouble is 90 Squadron was the RAF squadron that introduced the B17 to combat with B17Cs or Fortress Is.
These were the early sharkfin tailed 17s without turrets or tail guns.
Whoever did that B17G took early war 90 squadron markings and put them on some other hodge podge of psuedo RAF colors and faked it
The Roundels are from 1942 prior to the B17G getting into operations.
WP is the squadron codes for 90 Squadron RAF btw. 90 Squadron never had B17Gs, transitioning to Stirlings after their less then successful run with early model B17s
I'd have to see an actual photo to buy into that being a real scheme cause I'd bet the house it isn't
