JB my friend, you're missing the point of panel lines.
You are trying to recreate 2D plans/schematics. Instead you have to be thinking of mapping them onto a 3D shape. One good example is the making a circle on the belly of the dora (one person did the math to get the right stretching down -- can't remember who). Instead of trying to get the precise angle of things, you need to instead look where the model has its geometry.
Example: Your canopy lines. You have them mapped so that you have a canopy well above the actual geometry of the canopy on the plane model. You should be trying to make the panel lines meet the geometry. On my next 190 I'll strive to do this more than I have on this one, but I'm so close to finishing this one and the glitches are so small I don't think many will notice them (it took me a while to notice some).
So don't kill yourself getting the exact dora panel lines down, because of the way they are mapped and the shape of the object they map onto, you will never get them exact. And if you do it won't look right, if you know what I mean. So work with the geometry we have. Map *it*. Then add other lines relative to it.
Not saying to stop, mind you. You have a lot done. I'm saying don't kill yourself, and adopt a different mental strategy *while* you work on the panel lines. Might be more relaxing

Edit: Erm.. didn't mean to sound hard or harsh or anything. This was all in the spirit of easing frustration. No offense intended if any was perceived.
